What's so great about 5-axis?
3-axis milling machines use software to carve intricate products, but only in X, Y and Z dimensions. Users still have to precisely turn the object by hand - or lose the entire run.
But 5-axis milling machines -- normally very large and very expensive -- also add the ability to control milling in two additional, rotating axes. The 5AXISMAKER machines, which include 3D printing, fit on a desktop and are reasonably priced. The result: complex designs that can be rendered perfectly in one run, every time, by individuals and any business.
And 5-axis printing of 3D models enables techniques that go beyond the horizontal layers of a regular 3D printer, such as printing conformally around a shape and printing in interwoven layers to improve structural strength.
Our machines are the only affordable ones that offer 5-axis printing or milling.
Make complex parts, tools or models — affordably, on your desktop
Our machines allow dentists to create their own precisely-fitted teeth aligners, product designers to form physical renderings of their ideas, architects to generate detailed models of buildings, and sculptors to turn their visions into reality. Drawing on a huge range of materials for milling or 3D printing, our customers' only limitation is their imagination.

Daniel Dalmau at Dalmau Boats in Brazil: “The machine has been used mainly for softwood rowing shell parts and small, high-density plastic [mould] tools or parts. Versatile and precise enough to allow complex shapes … Great machine, great people, great support!”
Joseph Marr, a Berlin-based sculptor, employs the 5AXISMAKER to turn full-scale scans of real objects into sculpture moulds made from soft foam and high-density polyurethane.
The AMPRINT Center at Rochester University of Technology in New York state has utilised industry-standard Autodesk Powermill Additive multi-axis CNC software on our 5AXISMAKER.
